“I met Lea Ann Klarner in 2019 where she was the CEO of Ashby Cares operating Meadowthorpe Assisted Living and Memory Care in Lexington, Ky. My family was looking for a place for my mother to live because my father had just passed. We visited several facilities, but the expertise Lea Ann provided in understanding Independent, Assisted Living, and Memory Care needs sold us. Meadowthorpe, under the leadership of Lea Ann, provided my mom with excellent healthcare needs by coordinating physician appointments, physician Skype meetings and in house vaccines for the residents. My mom felt safe due to Lea Ann understanding the needs of the care recipient and providing it as the caregiver. My mom moved to a Nursing Home in 2023. During my mom’s transition period to the Nursing Home, Lea Ann’s knowledge of Hospice and the Healthcare System help us manage the move easily.”

“I have had the pleasure of knowing Lea Ann Klarner the past five years as the owner while she served as the CEO of Ashby Cares, LLC the operator of the Meadowthorpe Assisted Living and Memory community in Lexington, KY. Lea Ann has a unique ability to establish systems and processes necessary to manage and maintain the task and evaluate outcomes along the continuum. The most noted is the management of the Marketing Process culminating with the admission. Her guiding principle is a deep understanding of the combined needs of the prospective resident as well as their family and loved ones. She is truly the definition of the “Navigator” role in terms of how to support and educate families while they are trying to decide what is best for their loved ones. I believe it is this strength that has allowed Meadowthorpe to achieve very good occupancy statistics, exceptional family satisfaction, and a strong reputation for quality services.”

“Lea Ann is an effective communicator in helping individuals and families navigate the medical field. She is thoughtful of the patient’s needs and knowledgeable of the product and process to provide efficient, safe, and warranted care for your loved one!”

“Just a few kind words recommending Lea Ann. A few years back my mother’s dementia had got to a point she just needed someone around. Just to assist and keep an eye on her. We got hooked up with Lea Ann. I can honestly say I think God directed me there. My Dad was in another facility and I was really struggling. Lea Ann was there to help us. From arranging doctor appointments, home health, entertainment and mom’s favorite morning tea to her room! Even offering arrangements to get my dad and mom together to visit! Lea Ann understood I was having a hard time and was always there to reassure me that all was well no matter what time I called. She did everything she could to make my mother’s transition the best it could be!”
