I have sat with families at exactly this moment, and I have lived it myself, through eleven years caring for my own mother with dementia. I know the guilt, and I know the exhaustion. I also know the questions to ask and the doors to open, and I will walk alongside you through every one of them.

My placement guidance is free to your family. When your loved one moves into a community, the community pays my fee, not you. You get an experienced advocate at no cost. And because I am independent, I am never steering you toward the place that pays the most. I represent you, and only you.

Why an independent advocate, and not a placement service

You have probably seen the national placement sites. Families tell me the same thing again and again: “they just wanted the check,” and “they would not stop calling.” I understand the worry. Here is the difference.

I am local. I live and work in western Kentucky, and I have walked through the communities I talk to you about. I am independent. No community owns me, and I do not hand your information to a call center. And I am a caregiver myself, so I speak your language, not a clinical one.

My job is not to place people. My job is to make sure your family understands all of your options, and to stay on your side of the table until the decision is made.
